Brandy Alexander is a brandy-based cocktail consisting of cognac, crème de cacao, and cream that became popular during the early 20th century. A smooth classic for a change of pace.

2 oz Cognac or other fine aged brandy
1 oz Crème de cacao
1 oz Cream
Grated Nutmeg

1. Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

2. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg
