Cranberries with a twist as a side for your turkey.
- 12 ounces fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons orange zest
- 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier
1Combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil; add cranberries, return to a boil.
2Reduce heat and boil gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3Remove from heat. Add orange zest and Grand Marnier and stir.
4Let cool at room temperature.
Refrigerate until cool, or serve at room temperature.
