Makes about 12 sliders. Great for a party app, burgers and a movie, lunch or if you get a burger craving!
2 pounds lean ground beef
1 tsp minced/crushed garlic
1/2 tsp sriracha sauce
1 tblsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dry mustard
1 sweet onion sliced
1 tsp butter
1 tsp olive oil
6 oz shredded gruyere
6 strips bacon, cut in quarters
12 slider buns
1. Heat up the grill. Add minced garlic, egg, sriracha, worcestershire and mustard powder in a large bowl and mix. Add beef and mix well.
Roll 12 balls of burger mixture and then flatten to a slightly larger size than your buns.
2. Cut the bacon and cook in a pan. In another pan add butter and olive oil, add onions and cook on med low about 20 minutes. You may need to adjust heat depending on pan thickness, you don’t want to burn them just caramelize them. Shred the gruyere.
3. Grill the burgers add gruyere to melt. Toast the buns. Add burgers to buns, top with caramelized onions and bacon pieces.
