gay rum punch

Get your party bowl out and ready for Mount Gay Rum Punch Cocktail to set the night off.

19 oz Mount Gay Eclipse Rum
18 oz Water
12 oz Grenadine
13 oz Simple syrup
4 oz Lime juice
1 oz Angostura bitters
1 tsp Freshly grated nutmeg

1. Prep this a couple hours before you are ready to serve, cover bowl with plastic wrap.

2. Serve in glasses with ice and garnish with a Maraschino cherry or a fruit wedge.

*Simple Syrup

1 cup water
2 cups sugar

Bring the water to a boil.
Add sugar and stir constantly until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat.
Cool syrup and use immediately or pour into a covered jar and refrigerate for up to two weeks.
Makes 1 cup
