1 tsp butter
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
2 -2 1/2 lbs potatoes, peeled and sliced very thin
1 onion sliced
1/2 cup shredded or grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
1/2 cup gruyere
1/2 bar cream cheese, slice thin
1. Peel and slice potatoes and onion. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease baking pan with butter.
2. In a bowl add cream, whisk in dry mustard and pepper. Layer baking dish with 1/3 of your sliced potatoes and onion. Top with 1/3 of your cheeses and pour 1/3 of your cream over. Repeat layering until all ingredients are gone.
3. Bake in middle of oven for about an hour. Let sit for a few minutes and serve.
