CIMARRON B&B, Airey’s Inlet, Victoria
A rustic yet sophisticated B&B homestead on Australia’s Great Ocean Road
The house is set among beautiful native gardens and surrounded by coastal vegetation, with sweeping ocean views to the Point Roadknight promontory, Arthur’s Seat and Bass Strait. Cockatoos, rosellas, wrens, wallabies, kangaroos and more frequently roam the grounds.
Every room features vaulted ceilings of Canadian Hemlock. Upstairs rooms are connected by balconies and an internal bridge.
The colonial style wrap-around verandah provides a shady place to sit and enjoy the view.
Cimarron is close to a number of Victoria’s most famous surf beaches, including Bells Beach and Lorne – a 20-minute drive in either direction.
The glamour town of the Victorian south coast, Lorne in summer is packed to bursting with people enjoying the gorgeous beach and sparkling blue water, alongside an endless choice of cafes, ice-creameries and restaurants. The Pier-to-Pub weekend and New Year’s celebrations are major calendar events.
