We are located in the downtown area, right on the edge of The Plateau, next to Square St-Louis with its beautiful fountain and close to the pedestrian Prince Arthur Street with its BYOB (bring your own bottle.) restaurants and lovely outdoor terraces (patios).
On St-Denis and St-Laurent you will find even more restaurants and some wonderful cafés. We are just minutes from the Village and just a walk away from most of Montreal’s Nightclubs
Walk over to the downtown core, where you will find some of the greatest shopping in Montreal’s famous underground city, or hop onto the Metro (subway) which can take you far and wide. Grab a Bixi bicycle and peddle yourself around the city.
Five tastefully decorated rooms (Cartier Carleton, Frontenac, de Maisonneuve and the Suite (Wolfe & Montcalm and Champlain) are available for our guests, in a smoke-free environment. They are comfortably furnished with quality bedding.
Breakfast
- At Gingerbread Manor, we believe in serving a complete breakfast that varies from day to day. That means that we can’t give you a menu ahead of time because it depends on what is available, in season and what needs to be used. We try to use fresh products including a basket of fresh fruit and vegetables we receive from our organic farmer one a week. So expect that the menu will be different almost every day. Also expect that breakfast will be freshly made for you. And if something is missing, just ask us!
